SPIRAX SARCO INDIA 

Spirax-Sarco India Private Limited, established in 2015, is a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Spirax-Sarco Engineering group, UK. 

It comprises a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Mahindra World City, Chennai, as well as offices and training centre, and represents an initial investment of over £11 million. 

Spread over 6.3 acres, the plant manufactures steam efficiency equipment and accessories, and provides high quality solutions to a wide customer base in India and across the Indian sub-continent.

Spirax Sarco India works alongside customers across a diverse range of industries, including Food and Beverage, Plywood production, Chemicals and Rice Milling to help them increase operational efficiency, reduce energy and water use, improve product quality, provide safer working environments and achieve regulatory compliance.

Spirax-Sarco has established a large sales network across India, with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Baroda and Pune, as well as satellite offices in Kolkata, Chandigarh, Kanpur, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Sri Lanka.

ROTOLOK INDIA 

Rotolok is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Rotary Valves and Materials Handling Equipment for process industries. It was founded in 1973, and is based in Tiverton, Devon, UK.

DIT India team has been working with Rotolok for a few years advising them on their market entry strategy for India. DIT Chennai team has been supporting the company to set up their manufacturing facility in India. The team introduced Rotolok to several contacts such as lawyers, accountants, real estate and HR consultants, industrial estates and liaising on behalf of the company with local government departments.

DIT Chennai team introduced Rotolok to a potential site for its new manufacturing facility. After visiting the site, several rounds of discussions and carrying out due diligence, Rotolok decided to set up their manufacturing facility for India near Chennai. In 2016 the company completed construction of the new plant and commenced commercial production at the facility.
